Situation Report Punjab Floods 2025 — What Happened
When relentless monsoon systems stalled over Punjab, rivers climbed past their banks and swept through villages, fields, and roads. Families moved in the dark with children and elders, carrying documents, a few utensils, and hope. This is the story of what unfolded—and why relief remains urgent.
When the Water Rose
Hour by hour, embankments softened and broke. Water rushed into low-lying homes, silencing pumps and generators. By morning, many families had only a rooftop and the clothes they wore.
